The Comedy Pub is Vienna’s dedicated home for live stand-up comedy in English and German. Located near U4 Kettenbrückengasse, we bring together local comedians, international performers, first-time comics, touring acts, expats, locals and visitors for real comedy nights in the heart of Vienna.
From open mics and free comedy shows to curated showcases, solo performances and special events, there is always something happening on our stage. Some nights are raw and unpredictable. Some nights are polished and packed with experienced performers. Every night is live, human and different.

What Happens at The Comedy Pub
At The Comedy Pub, every night has its own flavour. You might see new comedians testing fresh jokes, experienced performers sharpening their best material, international acts bringing their tour shows to Vienna, or a packed weekend showcase with some of the strongest comics in the city.
We host comedy in English and German, so whether you are a local, an expat, a tourist, a student, or someone who just needs a night out that does not involve another polite dinner conversation, there is a show for you.

Most shows run around 90 minutes. Doors usually open around 30 minutes before showtime. Seating is usually first come, first served, so arriving early is a good idea.
