Stand-up comedy in Vienna is what The Comedy Pub does every night. We are Vienna’s dedicated comedy club for English and German live comedy, located near U4 Kettenbrückengasse. Our stage brings together local comedians, international performers, first-time comics, touring acts, expats, locals and visitors. From open mics to curated showcases, free comedy nights and special events, there is always something happening at The Comedy Pub.
The Stage Is Set — Every Night
Every night has a different flavour. Some nights are raw and unpredictable, with new comedians testing fresh material. Other nights feature experienced performers, polished sets and international guests. Many of our shows are free or donation-based, while special showcases and headline events are ticketed. Want to try stand-up yourself? Our comedy courses help beginners and aspiring performers learn joke writing, timing, stage presence and confidence in front of a real audience. Courses are available in English and German and take place inside an active comedy club, not a classroom pretending to be one.

Seating is generally first come, first served.Come with friends, colleagues, a date, or by yourself. Comedy is social, but it also works perfectly for solo adventurers.
