To make Vienna laugh and to build a real home for stand-up comedy in the city.
We believe stand-up comedy is one of the most honest and exciting art forms in the world. It is direct, alive and human. A comedian walks on stage with only a microphone, an idea and the courage to say something out loud.
Sometimes it is silly.

Sometimes it is uncomfortable.

Comedy gives people permission to laugh at life, stress, culture, relationships, politics, identity, failure and all the strange little disasters of being human.

The Comedy Pub also hosts private and corporate comedy events.

Most shows last around 90 minutes, making them easy to fit into an evening without needing to sacrifice your entire night to the calendar gods.
